Scott Paulson and Barbara Smith deliver the islands to you
as Island Time Steel Drums.
Specializing in wedding cocktail hours, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, pool parties, barbecues, restaurants, tiki bars, and Parrot Head events.
The joy these two find in performing comes through in their upbeat style whether they are performing traditional Trinidadian Socas and Calypsos, or tunes from the American Songbook! The couple have played hundreds of Steel Drum appearances together since 2002!
The show features Scott on Lead Pan and Barbara on Double Lead Pans. They play over background accompaniments which the pair have painstakingly prepared for this purpose. The result is a full lush tropical sound created by only two musicians. This is a perfect choice when space, volume or budgets are a concern.
Scott and Barbara both hold B.A.s in music and have years of experience performing and teaching professionally.
